Our Story
Over the last years, the church has traditionally been slow to embrace to new technological advancements, resulting in delayed responses and difficulties in adapting to emerging trends. Consequently, the church has suffered from a negative image that continues to grow in today's world. However, the time has come for Christian communities to initiate a transformative shift and become pioneers in the Web3 space. By doing so, we as christians can make a significant impact and extend the influence to a wider global audience.
That's why Jakob founded the International Metaverse Church (IMC) in Berlin, Germany, in 2022. With a strong impact within the Web3 space and a primary focus on influencing the youth, IMC shall play a crucial role in a new era of building church to bring the gospel to world.
IMC has adopted a unique approach creating a digital main hub. This hub aims to bring together people of all ages, various backgrounds, denominations and is not solely limited to young individuals or Web3/gaming enthusiasts. While the primary focus is of course to engage the next generation, IMC strongly believes in the importance of involving every individual in new technological trends. Therefore, IMC is committed to make the Web3 access as easy as possible for those with limited knowledge. Additionally, IMC actively seeks to engage with non-believers, igniting their curiosity and ultimately guiding them towards a personal connection with Jesus.
IMC is a fundamental ecosystem for all to gather - Those who are part of the body of Christ, curious to learn more, or explore the holy Metaverse Land "Utopia".
Our Beliefs
